A Founding Director, Patrick works closely with clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to deliver innovative and attractive buildings, with particular responsibility for practice and client management. Patrick led Southstudio's team on the Lycee International des Londres, a £20M conversion of the Grade II Listed Brent Town Hall into a new school for 1070 pupils, as well as commercial office and private residential projects.
Southstudio evolved from the South Studio workspace and team at Sidell Gibson Architects, focused on arts and education projects under the direction of Richard Brearley. Patrick joined Sidell Gibson in 2009 to lead the £10M CFBL project, converting a Grade II Listed London Board School into a French Lycee for 700 pupils. Before Sidell Gibson, Patrick spent four years working on private residential projects, designing a new low-energy house in Cornwall and a Grade II Listed mill conversion in Wiltshire. Other experience was gained with leading practices Sheppard Robson, John Miller + Partners, Denton Corker Marshall, and Richard Murphy Architects.
