Ealing Road Library Hub

Southstudio were engaged in an exciting and innovative public realm project to transform the outside area in front of Ealing Road Library for the London Borough of Brent.

A new pedestrian space was created to include new high-quality surfacing, seating, landscaping and external lighting. The space is defined by the addition of two purpose designed modular buildings providing a café and community enterprise space, to enrich and complement the library activities.

This ensemble provides a hub for community activities including for example, performances, outdoor seating and library activities, occasional cinema screenings and market days.
